Adobe Illustrator Software
I have noticed people who study in Graphic design frequently talking about "Illustration" . I have no idea what 'illustration' means in this sense! I just know it is a software and I never use before.
For my first thought to illustration was editing photos and picture only and there was nothing special compare to other software but i was wrong. It Is a powerful and useful tool to designer.
Illurstator can intended to make clear or apprehensible and remove obscutiry. Furthermore, to design a picture or photo with decorate a volume and elucidate a litery work.
From my research, I had read one of the user and is quite good to describe what is illustration.
- " Illustration is the art of making images that work with something and add to it without needing direct attention and without distracting from the thing they illustrate. The other thing is the focus of the attention, and the illustration's role is to add personality and character without competing with that other thing."

They do compete for attention with other things, and a good designer will be able to control which elements win attention in what order on a busy page."

Good samples. I think the works of Adam Pryce not only illustrates interesting character designs, but the world that he creates, the surrounding, the mood, the feel of the environment just works so well. I wonder if he put's in a lot of thought, experimentation and development into it to be able to create something so rich?
ReplyDeleteSorry for late reply, Sir. Well, Adam Pryce is doing other design too, like pattern design, advertising and magazine design, public and live art. I knew him from his pattern design. It is really nice and colourful. Colourful always make thing become more interesting and look more vivid. Colourful make my day ! He designs children book as well latest. Some of his work is quite abstract. Inky creature is one of the most I like. He used line technique to draw things by using ink. From his drawing, i think he not really put so much thought , experimentation and development into his drawing. What I think is he draw by his feeling and trying to get in that mood. Sometime, if we think too much before drawing, it may get more trouble and the drawing may get worst too.Some of his work is not really accurate but look at the different way, you may see something new and may get a new inspiration. Observation as well=)
